Ever feel like some things aren't ment to go your way? Like, I was starting Quarterback, I had gone 14/16 throwing for 156 yards and four touchdowns and scrambled for 53.5 yards on 4 attempts in a scrimmage and I'm only in middle school, but then I injured myself and now there's a risk my career could be over. I mean really, at times I just feel like I'm being robbed lol. Anyone else have bad experiences like that?

I'm sick and everyone's having the time of their lives after the exams.

I was sick the entire school holidays... and yesterday when they ended, I got better again!!!! And that is far from unusual!!! The last Christmas hols, I got shingles (let it surfice to say that it hurts like hell) and that my back still isn't the same (nervous hyper-sensitivity). For two years now, I haven't ever gotten sick in the school term.... but the hols are a different matter entirely.

I get weeks like that every few months. But when I look back at them they don't seem so bad. Just mood swings, I guess.
And that's a pity about your injury, Desko. I know too many athletes who had a chance at more, only to be injured and unable to play anymore.

Yeah, things seem to 'grey' in hindsight. Bad times seem better, great times seem not quite so great...

Heck, I've got a good story for this... Last year I joined track; it was my first time in any sport at all. I had my mile time down to below six minutes, which was pretty darn good for me, since I never run... Then I got a stress fracture. I only got to participate in two meets until my doctor told me to quit running on a broken leg and gave me crutches, which I used till the end of the school year. Sigh. Go do something you hate, it builds character.

I don't really have any favourites, but I like Calvin and Hobbes, Dilbert and Peanuts. The only drawback to Calvin and Hobbes is that there are too few of them. The comics, that is.

Well... let's see... I want to go to Homecoming, kind of, at least, and it ends at Midnight tonight. But tomorrow is the PSAT, which is 7:45 in the morning. So.. yeah... not really nice.
We also do this spirit week thing, and Thursday we were supposed to do fake injuries. Well, at swim later that day, I got out of the pool and hit my toe against a rusty spicket (on accident, mind you) and ripped off my toenail. And I just turned 15 a month ago, so I needed to get my tetnis shot. Ugh... so I might get it really infected or something.
Hum ho, there's also the fact that Durriac might be able to see me in March and my parents are like... uber over-protective, so that might not happen, considering he's older and a boy. *Sigh.*

Aw c'mon, who could be afraid of Durriac? He's like a teddy bear, remember? And 'sides, they let you meet Blaise. I'd be more afraid of her than Durriac

Psht, I know, but THEY don't. Besides, Blaise is younger than me and a girl. It's a whole sexist thing, basically.

Oh yeah, that stupid sexism factor. But if we went by that, I'd only ever get to meet Durriac. Well, and you I guess... Scorched

GASP not nice. And I'm not taking my toe thing like a man. I haven't managed to get the other bit of nail off... I keep on ripping it a teensy bit and then chickening out . Eventually I'll get it off, I suppose. AND THEN I'LL BE A FREAK WITH ONLY 19 NAILS! ^_^
