Not sure who I'll fight with yet. Hm...I don't like Fearclaw as a character, as she's rather bland, and she doesn't have any specifically outlined fighting style or experience, much like her personality. However, Elijah is a badger and more of a scout than a warrior. Well, I'll make my decision eventually. Probably have plenty of time for it.

Haha, I have the same problem as you, Finbar. On the one hand, Rue's a badger. On the other, she pretty much stinks at any fighting involving actual skill- oh, sure, she can knock around a few heads, but only because of her enormous size. My character on GoM is a fighting hare- which I don't really like because fighting hares are kind of overdone.
What to do, what to do.

As leader I guess I should fight for The Horde, if I even do fight. But I don't like fighting with Dirk. Rotha from CotBF is my all-time favourite character, and my speciality with her is sparring. But it doesn't seem right to lead one site and fight for another

Rotha? Her? Female? o_0
Oh, and of course you should fight for the Horde, silly! You're the spliffin' Horde Master, you know. ^-^

Yes. I have a female character. Sue me. See, I was involved in a discussion one time, on LPF I think, about how males never have female characters. Now, I had had a couple before, but never any that lasted. So the next time I joined a site (Camp Wildwood, I'm fairly sure it was, though it might've been CotBF) I made it female. And somehow Rotha came to become my favourite character. So yeah. There you go. And nah, I don't think I'll fight. I'll stick to organizing and judging.

I have a character of the opposite sex, with Fearclaw. Nothing wrong with having characters of the opposite sex, it's good experience. Actually I have many characters of the opposite sex, though most of my characters are male.

Of my...three? main ones, two are male, one female. And of the other...4-8? secondary ones, a few are female as well. It's actually fun to be the opposite sex.
Haha, it was funny with Rotha, no one ever knew I was a male behind the character. That was amusing to experience.

Really? Wow, I've never even thought about creating an alt of the opposite gender. In fact, I think I will sometime.
P.S. Did you say you were thinking about having the tournament in the summer? If so, do you think I could "train" Rue, in real time? Like, have her get more and more experienced as the weeks go by (so she's not completely devoid of skill?

Funny, a lot of female RPers seem to have male characters, I've always thought. But you can usually tell when the creator is female. Must be something about the way they write or something And yeah, the tourney, even if not delayed, probably won't start till mid-June earliest, so you have time to train Rue. What Legion is she in? I can get Flame and Typh to start training their soldiers. I could even join in myself, I suppose.

1st...Flameclaw. Mm, he's good, he was going on about 3000+ word posts the other day... Maybe we should do a general RP thing, to gear up for the tourney. I know several others could use some improvement too.

Depends on how good the roleplayer is, I think. Some of the not-as-good ones make their guys excessively sensitive (maybe how they want guys to be xD), or you can just plain tell from the way they write, as you said. But it's always a challenge to make a character that feels real, in the case of both males and females.
Yeah, I'm in as far as the tourney preparation.

Hear hear.
Y'know, it is funny; I have a character of the opposite sex too, but I won't reveal which one it is; Snowflower, the female from the Sentinels, or Korren, the male from the Horde.

I guess Korren...either that or you write like a girl. xD

I do NOT write like a girl!
But yes, it is Korren. I started with a character my own gender just to kinda get the hang of it.
