Korren strolled through the marketplace, leading the pretty mousemaid by her paw. The market in the middle of summer was a marvelous place, with fresh summer flowers and produce waiting to be bought. The Bakery especially had some delicious aromas surrounding it today.
Turning to his guest, Korren asked simply, "Would you like to taste some of Mistress Gilly's cookies? They're delicious, believe me."

Rue strolled alongside her friend Korren, taking large strides and filling her enormous lungs with huge gulps of fragant air. "Ahh..." Turning her head as she walked to listen to the Korren's question, the badger heartily agreed.
"Korren's right, you know- Gilly's cookies are simply delectable. Here, I'll even buy a few for you, once we get up there." Rue increased the length and speed of her strides so as to arrive to her destination a bit more quickly.

Snowflower was dazed at all the sights and smells she was encountering in this large place. She had never seen a town before, the closest thing being a Juska camp - and that could hardly be called anything but scary. An excited smile came to her face at the mention of cookies.
"Really? Then I must try these cookies."

Fin swaggered along in a somewhat subdued manner, his paws clasped behind his back. He looked around, having seen the marketplace quite a bit before, but never having actually really bought anything. He wasn't much of a shopper.
He nodded affably at the other two's compliments to the bakery. He really didn't like baked goods - or sweet things, for that matter - all that much, but if the cookies were so "delectable", of course they had to show Miss Snowflower. He smiled to himself and hop-skipped slightly to keep up with Rue's quickened strides.
Snowflower herself looked as if she had never encountered true civilization before - and perhaps she hadn't. Fin had grown up in a town, but she was young and perhaps she had spent all her life in the country.

Rue nods, smiling at the sight of Snowflower's face. She could see the bakery ahead- it was no more than a block or two away. Still taking long strides, she steered the two mice and Finbar towards it.

Korren grinned as he entered the bakery, and swaggered up to the counter, unconciously showing off for the mousemaid behind him.
"Hello, Miz Gilly, you're looking particularly lovely today," he said, flashing a puny attempt at a winning smile at the old mouse. "We'd like to see what you've baked today."
The mousematron rolled her eyes visibly at the young mouse's pitiful show, shaking her head. "Well, what d'you want, ye young scallawag?"

"That's right, you tell him Gilly!"
This comment came from the young female otter who was sitting at a table behind them. Her green eyes sparkled mischiviously as she grinned at Korren.
"Who's your friend Korren? Never seen her around here before."
Shoving her chair back from the table, she strode over to Snowflower and offered a paw.
"Hello! I'm Legolas. Don't listen to anything Korren says, he's a terrible liar. You'd be better off hanging with me."
Once again she grinned at Korren.

Rue smiled at the display put on by both Korren and Legolas. The badger greeted Madame Gilly warmly, inclining her head respectfully to the elderly mouse. As Korren made his cheeky comment to the old mousematron, Rue reached down over Korren's head and rumpled his headfur mischievously, chiding him playfully as she did so.
"Why, you young rip...imagine talking to Madame Gilly in such a manner! I oughtta tan your tailfur an' send you packing straight back home..."
She tipped a huge wink at Snowflower before turning back to the counter to order. She pondered a bit before she decided on a hazelnut eclair for herself, turning back to the others to see what they wanted.

The small sand cat stood out of the way, trying not to be seen. She'd just landed here, and come to the bakery to look for a job, for she was an excellent cook, and always willing to learn.
Her ice blue eyes were downcast. She probably wouldn't hire me anyway. After all, she doesn't know me, and she'll probably think me to be scrawny and unhelpful.
The catmaid sat down at a nearby table, and watched the young mice, the badger matron, and the friendly young otter. Perhaps they would go away soon, so she could talk to the old mouse alone.

Snowflower grinned. "Aye, Korren, be polite when speaking to your elders. After all, you will be one someday."
Graciously taking the ottermaid's paw, Snowflower shook it heartily. "M'name's Snowflower. I'm from Mossflower, and I'm here after a shipwreck. Rue, and Korren," she said, adding Korren's name second to delibrately get on his nerves, "were giving me a tour of the town."
She also smiled at the catmaid in the corner, but it appeared that she didn't want to be disturbed.

((oh, btw, I checked the description above the board, and Mistress Gilly is actually the Clothes Shopowner. xD))
Fin shoved his hands in his pockets, observing that Korren needed some work on his charming grin. Fin had tried his best to perfect it seasons ago, and in his opinion he had pretty much mastered it. The weasel gazed idly off out the window of the bakery. Korren and Rue were exchanging some friendly banter with the baker and some otter, so there was pretty much nothing to interest him there.
He snorted through his nose softly, scuffling the dusty floor with his footpaw. There was only one other occupant in the building, some cat he'd never seen before. He ignored her masterfully. The sooner they got out of this stuffy place the better, in his opinion. He'd much rather tour somewhere else...closer to the tavern, perhaps.
The weasel chuckled silently at the thought. That motherly prig Rue would probably explode if he so much as mentioned alcohol in Snowflower's presence.

(OOC: Wow, at least you noticed that there WAS a description. o_0 Oh well. We should just go along with what we have, since we've already gone so far.)
Rue looked over at the corner, rather startled. There was a sandy-furred catmaiden there that she had not noticed the moment before. The badger's sharp eyes quickly discerned that she wanted to talk to Madame Gilly alone, without the intrusion of so many beasts. Appreciating what appeared to be the young cat's need for privacy, she decided to order as quickly as possible and leave so that the maid could do what she needed to.
She leaned over very slightly and whispered this in Korren's ear, trying not to make herself seem too conspicious as she did so. Aloud, she said,
"Well then! Let's hurry up and order, then, we haven't got all day, now. Everybody tell me what they want, the tab's on me."
The badger furrowed her brow in concentration for a moment, then turned to Snowflower. "Just out of curiosity, dear, how old are you?"

Snowflower grinned once more, bashfully. "I'm fifteen, I think. I'm not sure, my memories of my brithdate are somewhat vague."
Staring at the cookies offered in the shop, Snowflower quickly decided on what to order.
"I'll have a chocolate chip cookie, please."

OOC: Yeah, I noticed that too. I could have sworn that Gilly was the bakery keeper.
Korren squirmed visibly under the tough old mousematron's stare. When another shopkeeper, Urinn Farlo, entered, he relaxed more, for Farlo wasn't offended by his unfortunate remark.
"Thanks for tending the shop for me, Mistress Gilly," the old shew said. "You're a pal; just let me know when you need a favor."
Gilly left without further adou, still shaking her head and laughing under her breath at Korren, who piped up now to order. "I'll have the same thing Snowflower's having."

Fin glanced over, seeing that a male shrew seemed to have taken the mouse's place. Knowing that they probably expected to order or something, he turned to them and held his paws up waving them back and forth in a "no-thanks" kind of gesture.
"Nothin' fer me, thanks."
He turned back to the window, thinking about where they could take "Miss Snowflower" next. There was still the Blacksmith's shop - Khan Khardez wasn't such a bad sort. Better than all these stuck-up, goody goody woodlanders that managed most of the shops along down the lane.

Crystal had been takeing a lap around the town, her white fur shimmering in the light. Still jogging quickly, She nearly runs into the table Legolas was at. After stoping (And nearly tripping.) Crystal sees mousemaid and walks over. Holding out a paw to her, Crystal grins, but tries to hide her fangs, falling misrebily.
"Hiya. I'm Crystal Mcfox Vallian Rosepaw, and my name is to much of a mouthful Call me Crystal, Crys, Crissy, The highspeed, hyperactive, ganster foxmaid, if ou want.

Rue cast an eye around, squinting slightly. "That all? You sure? Alright, then."
Turning to the new shrew-ish clerk behind the counter (waving good-bye to Madame Gilly as she turned to leave), the badger ordered two, large chocolate-chip cookies and a hazelnut eclair. She looked back over her shoulder at Korren and Snowflower. "Er, you two want anything to drink? I'll be more than happy to get you something." Glancing at Finbar, she gave a curt nod. "Yes, and you too. Just ask, and you'll have it."

Fin shook his head again, smiling thinly. He tossed his head in the direction of the window almost impatiently, restlessly.
A fox had just entered and introduced herself to Snowflower. Voice sounded kind of familiar...yes, it was that young vixen - the fast one. He would have to talk to her later, though.
"What say we hit the Blacksmith's shop next?" he asked Korren and Snowflower. "I'm sure Khan'd give you a tour if you asked 'im nice enough." He grinned in a more pleasant manner.

Snowflower smiled once more. She couldn't help but wonder if her cheeks were going to melt off because of all this smiling.
"I'm Snowflower; nice to meet you Crystal." Turning to Rue, she spoke up once more. "I'm fine drinkwise. All I want is a cookie."

"Drinks..." Crystal mutters regretfully. She had her first drink of achol a few nights ago and was quickly out of it. But a drunk Crystal was fun at parties. She smooth her headful, deperatly trying to get it out of her eyes in vain. She looks over at the bakery keeper.
"Can I get a loaf of bread, if ye will, good sir?"
