OOC: Of all my years being here, I only posted in the dining hall once, so I may be wrong about the tables XD
BIC: Ty's right paw skimmed the currently abandoned dining hall's key table as he strode down the room. His blue orbs watching his every step that he managed to take. Upon walking halfway down the room, Ty paused, removing his gloved hand from the long table.
He exhaled and unleashed a sigh, standing up straight. He closed his eyes slowly, before opening them again. When he opened them, he saw the former glory of the horde again. The chairs that were now scattered throughout the room, looked as if they were back in position, and beasts sat in them. Everything was normal again... Dirk, Stryke, all of those beasts, were there. Feasting, laughing, exchanging gestures, all of that great stuff. Unfortunately, it seemed as if those days were over....
Banishing the odd visions, he closed his eyes an re-opened them. The half rat half mouse scratched his head. What happened when I was taken away? The town 'n such is bustling with beasts but the army...its gone...without a trace... Ty thought in a mellow manner.
The rat shook his head and placed his gloved paws on his hips. He removed his right paw suddenly to rest it on his chin. Was anyone left that knew how to wield a blade? If the army was gone, these lands could be taken over....

Ty was currently eyeing a glass. He was surprised it was still in mid-condition. It had been sitting on the table, its drinker never returning. In his glove hand, he rotated the glass when needed, looking at it from every angle. Suddenly, he heard footsteps. His ears perked, and the glass fell in what seemed slow motion, shattering immediately on contact with the ground.
Ty sighed and turned his head, his hand grasped on one of his blade's hilts. When he saw the beast, he found his hand casually making its way down from the blade. " Miss, you alright?" Ty asked, his blue eyes locked on Mirima.

Mirima couldn't speek for a moment and shook when the glass shattered. "Fine." was all she could get out. she stared at the room it told so much. finding her voice again she managed to ask, "What happened here?"

Ty paused and gave a slight shrug. After an awkward pause, the half rat half mouse raised his paw and scratched the scar beneath his one eye.
He gazed around before locking his eyes on Mirima. " Well, honestly, I don't know. I just got back...my guess is every'un left..." He said softly, just enough for her to here him. He looked the maiden up and down. " What's yer name?"

*Rinafera stood outaide the dining hall. His paws clutching the scimitar that hung loosely from his belt. He unsheathed the sword from the scabbard and waved it. A ferret approached, sneering. The hare rolled his eyes and kept the blade up, remembering his experiences with vermin. Guardians of Mossflower was a good training session to throw him into something bigger. That something was the Horde. For the Sword and for the Horde. Rinafera waved the blade in the air, taking the offensive on his bout with the ferret. The ferret lifted a cutlass and deflected the blow, obviously a trained swordsman.*
So we meet jolly again, Agar. It seems it has been too long...
*Rinafera growled at his long time foe. He whipped the blade through the air with precision as it knocked flatly against Agar's cutlass. But this time, the ferret had a back-up plan. Though the hare had knocked the scum down many times Agar always escaped, but it was humilliating. This time the ferret Gang-leader would not lose. The hare crashed swords with the ferret, using his height advantage to propel his actions. Swinging downwards, Rinafera unleashed a blow to Agar's shoulder. But the ferret's plan had worked to perfection.
Agar jumped away, and Rinafera suddenly felt excruciating pain. He growled, ripping a piece of his tunic off to quench the blood flowing from his hip. An enemy arrow had been shot directly into his hip from a narby gand member and follower of Agar. The ferret smiled mercilessly, but the hare had taken harder blows. Breathing slowly, Rinafera thrusted the blade at Agar. The gang-leader jumped back and blocked it, but not without losing his balance. Suddenly, Agar made a motion sign with his paw. But the former Guardian read it like a book.
Rinafera whipped around quickly and blocked a dagger from a rat. The rat's paws got blisters from the force of the blow and he fell over. The hare stuck the blade in his chest and ripped it out with no remorse. But the archer was still at large. Looking around frantically, Rinafera finally spotted the bowsbeast in a tree. He ducked behind Agar, using him as a hostage. The hare grabbed the ferret and threw him forward. Rinafera yanked the blade forward and ripped a devestating blow into Agar's torso but it did not slay him. Then he grabbed the enemy cutlass and stepped back.
Finally, Rinafera looked down at the arrow in his side. He yanked it out with agonizing pain. The hare threw it to the groud and placed a paw at his hip to help the blood stop. Soon after, he left the meadow and walked into the Dining Hall. It was magnificent, and he spotted Ty and Mirima.*
Hello, chaps! How is life, wot?
OOC: Bleh. Good, but not great. I'll edit it later.

Flameclaw strode down the hill, happy to be in the familiar lands that surrounded the Horde. All was good in his little world of familiarity and memory, until he saw the huge swathes of grassless dirt, full of weeds and eroded channels. So this was what was left of the Horde's rich farmlands. The place had been a centre of trade and military for miles around, but the wildcat found it hard to believe that his old home had been reduced to this. Sure the place had been almost totally ransacked by an enemy, and sure a huge number of it's warriors had left to roam the world, but to come to this? The cat shook it's head and paced faster over the weads, eager to get off the now barren fields.
Flame was too busy ignoring the scenery to notice as his foot-paws started padding on cobbled streets, until a begger cried out for, "A penny for a blind lepper, please sir, a penny?"
The wildcat paused, thought, took a step, and then stopped. He turned around and dug around in his pack for a few seconds. He didn't find his money pouch, but what he did find was the butt end of a loaf of bread, only slightly stale. Since he was more of a carnivore, and didn't enjoy the dry bread as much as a nice, juicy hunk of fish, or maybe some cheese, lightly toasted over a fire, he tossed the bread, so it'd land in the poor beast's lap. Flame couldn't tell what the beast was, from the deformities that the disease had wrought upon the poor animal.
Striding on, with the though of food high up in his mind, he tried not to notice the decay and the almost glaring lack of grandour that the town used to have. He sighed and turned away when he passed the burned out rubble and charred frame that used to be the forge, run by one of the few wildcats in the town, Khan Kardez. As he continued his journey through the town, Flame remembered that he probably should check the fortress kitchens for some food...
About twenty minutes later, as the cat was about to turn into the Kitchens, he smelled something that he deffinitley did not expect. Blood. And not from the kitchens. Flame turned away from the doorway, and began to walk towards the smell..
Sure enough, a few spots of still damp blood were on the hallway of a different entrance. Flame followed these deeper into the building, and they led quite close to his original destination. The dining halls. Stepping inside, Flame immediatley noticed the injured hare and said, "You alright there? I noticed the blood.." Suddenly the cat noticed the squirrelmaid and the somewhat unusual looking rat. It wasn't exactly unusual, as much as it was just too short to be full grown, and to scarred and experienced to be a young beast. "Oh, good day to you as well. "

And that was the amazing irony of Ty. He was young. Obviously not teenage young, but a young warrior; wise, brave, and experienced like any other of his class. He was only a 'seasoned' warrior in his mind, because he had been trained since he was three or so. The scars of course, didn't truly mark just the battles he'd been in in such short seasons, but the slavery and such he had faced.
He had replied to Mirima stating his name almost emotionless, as if it had no meaning to him what-so-ever. " I'm Ty..."
Ty gave a slight pause then, his ears perking high, and he glanced at the first beast to step foot inside besides both he and Mirima. Rina'. The hare had come in unexpectedly, and bleeding. Before Ty could even give a reply of spoken words, Flameclaw had stepped in. The wildcat's appearance only sounded familiar. It must've been the one commander he was told about.
After the wildcat unleashed his response to Rina', Ty nodded. " I was jus' 'bout to ask the hare the same thing." Ty said openly as he looked about the place. " So, I get tossed into slavery for a season or two, come back, 'n every'un is gone...what happened?" Ty asked, not caring who answered.

Mirima looked at the two that had just walked in, "You look horrible. What can I get for you?" Mirima was offal with a blade couldn't carry one to save her life, she however was a very good doc. She was fascinated with blood and wounds bones and thing that would make even carnivorous sick to their stomach.

OOC: Sorry about the slowness of the reply... "I was jus' 'bout to ask the hare the same thing. So, I get tossed into slavery for a season or two, come back, 'n every'un is gone...what happened?" The wildcat gave a rather wry, one-sided grin. So there wouldn't be many answers here, just stories of why other beasts weren't at the fortress. ""You look horrible. What can I get for you?" The concerned squirrelmaid didn't appear to be the typical hordebeast, so she must be another newcomer... Flame breifly considered the possibility that she'd been in the Horde before he left, but dismissed the idea on account of her unfamiliarity.
Suddenly realising what was happening, Flame grabbed the nearest chair, unfortunatly, a heavy, carved, almost thronelike chair from the head of a table, and swung it around to sit it behind the injured hare. He gentlypulled the other beast so that they were sitting on the edge of the seat, leaving his injured hip mostly unmoved. "Let's see to that one on your side first, it's bleeding more." OOC: Basicly... HURRY UP RINAFERA!!!

*Rinafera cringed as the two put a paw at his bleeding side. The hare looked at them; friends, not foe. He made a forced smile and turned to Flameclaw. The wildcat had been through much, so perhaps he had known the infamous Agar.* It was Agar. Do you know him? *Rinafera said as he pushed harder with the cloth to quench the bleeding. Pointing to Mirima with his other paw, and he looked to Ty.* Who is she? OOC: AAAAH! Attack of terrible posts! Sorry about that, I'm kinda rushing right now.

OOC: You're always negative about your posts BIC: The blue orbs that were Ty's, overlooked the current situation going on. Ty found his question currently unanswered, but had no real care none the less. It was more important that the wounded hare was tended to, immediately. Crossing his arms, Ty stood slightly slouched. Watching Rina's eyes move from Mirima then to himself, a question being thrown out, Ty shrugged. He scratched the back of his head and gave a shrug. " Well, truthfully, I'm not sure. She's a squirrelmaiden by the name o' Mirima, or so she's told me." Ty replied, glancing at Mirima. She seems like a newcomer to this area, but heck, how would I know anymore?

Mirima didn't like being talked about like she wasn't there. "Have the hare lay on the ground and grab a bottle of alcohol, I don't care what kind." Mirima moved over to the Hare. "I wouldn't do this but there isn't time." She took a table cloth and tore it to strips. "Water I need water. Move beast." She shoved the two out of the way. While she waited for the water and alcohol she put pressure on the artery to slow the bleeding.
