You get a leader position by earning it. Cyp, Flameclaw and Typhoon have been around a long time (especially Typh), all are fine RPers, and they've all proved their loyalty to the Horde by sticking around during a time of inactivity - it was basically them keeping it alive at one point. Therefore, I rewarded them for it.
You can use whatever RPing you like here. DAB uses asterisk RPing, but the rest of the ROC varies in what they use. I prefer writing like I'm writing a story, myself, with no asterisks and using quotes etc. Some use italics for their actions. Some use bold for their speech. Etc etc. Use whichever you like.

I like italics... And when we say long, we mean long. Don't come bugging us again after two months...

Yes. The Horde has been around for over 2 1/2 years. Typhoon and I have been here nearly that whole length of time. Flameclaw and Cyp...not sure when they joined exactly, but they've been around longer than most anyone left on the board.

Bah, I'm older than you. By about a month or so, I think. Actually, I'm not sure - Punka, Durriac, Stryke, you and me all came around the same time as each other, if I recall correctly.

w00tage.. I've been here since the 18th of April last year... 13 months and Cyp.... well, Cyp is a relative newbie to the site... she can't have been here last year and she wasn't part of the old Horde either... So that leaves one way to become a leader, to be friends with the site owner!!! I believe that Cyp and Dirk had been aquainted on another site because it HAS to be that or otherwise I'm killing and eating that little mousey (what I call Dirk)

Yeah, Cyp and I have been friends for...ooh...a year and a half? And her and Durriac are probably even better friends. So...she's kind of got it made And yeah, she's a relative newbie to the site, only, what, half a year? But you need the leaders trust too, which she has (...I think). But y'know, Saxifrage and Sarevok's Second-in-command's (Meridian and Moloko Drekina, respectively) probably posted a grand total of 5 posts...combined. Both were only given the position because they were personal friends of the leader. Durriac only got his position because he was the ONLY OTHER POSTER still around when I took over leadership. I had actually planned on making Stryke my 2nd, but she was inactive. Durriac turned out better than I could hope for, however, so I got lucky there

Yeah, seems right. We were like the big 5 posters, really. Or at least, there was only the 5 of us who posted back then and still lasted after all the others had faded away. Of course, it's only you and me left, now, isn't it?

So yeah, you have to be 95 years old like Typh, Cyp, Flame, and Dirky Wirky Pirky, to get a job I guess. Yeah, I like calling peeps old...
