Ok, so, a couple things I think we should change:
When the Horde first started there were passworded boards. Then they were gotten rid of (can't remember if it was by Sarevok or myself). When I re-did the Horde, I implemented them again. However, this can be a hassle, getting passwords out to new members, and especially if members switch legions. I suggest scrapping this idea and just having an open board for others to come in to, if they wish, or are invited to do so. Also, this way new members won't go weeks without a password if the leader isn't active (cough) and then give up and leave.
Next:
We've always had divisions with different purposes. The current format basically has Light Infantry, Medium Infantry, Heavy Infantry, and special forces. But with the low influx of new members, all of them are inactive, as well as the two ships.
My suggestion: scrap the idea of special purposes for each. Just have two patrols of irregular soldiers, and probably stay with two ships as well. No more choosing which you want, either. You get assigned, by the leaders, based on which patrols need more active members. This way there will (hopefully) be enough activity in each to keep them running, without diluting the activity between 6 divison/ships. Command will be decided later, if a member proves themself loyal and active and whatnot.
Also, if we ever get enough members to overflow both with activity, we could always create a third patrol without any hassle about who's allowed in it. Just put all the new members in or whatever.
And thirdly:
Do we still want ships? They are the least active part. I don't really know why I decided to implement them anyway. We never even could decide on a name. But I think we could maybe do away with them, and just stick with patrols. We'll have "ships" of course, only NPC ones, not specific ones with their own crews and such.
Anyways, those are my ideas. Let's hear yours. I'm definitely open to any suggestions. I'm in one of those "Lets get the Horde back on its feet!" moods, but it won't last long, so hurry up and give me your thoughts before I lose it and won't do anything!
