Sadly, it does. There are so few old sites left these days...
EWA I believe is dead all but in name. Well, maybe even in name by now. Pity. 'Twas a good site. Haha, even with the MT/Anti-DAB thing that went on there.

That makes Fort Tatterack an elder too, I guess- it's struggled so long and bravely, but I think it's finally coming to the end of it's tether...
Haha, are you kidding? That was one of the best things about it- kept things interesting. Mousethief, what a little idiotic biscuithead, I love him. ^_^

The current Tatterack is a newer remake of an even older site. And no, I would not say it's at the end of its tether. It has survived worse than this before. For that matter, it never really has been all that active, except maybe once or twice.
In fact, one hope I have with this tournament is to feed new blood into some of these sites - Tatterack, CotBF and Sentinels all could use more members. And with the ROC dying, the only place new members really appear anymore is DAB. And what site do all the GoM members come from?
And the MT thing was incredibly amusing, for the time it went on. Man, I'm laughing thinking back to it now. Good times.

DAB. Heck, where do any of the members on the currently active ROC sites come from? Good ol' mother DAB.

It used to be a lot found their way in from just plain random searches, Google or whatever, actually. And there's always Terrouge and the Long Patrol, they're still active too, just not associated with this side of the ROC so much.
But since the ROC started dying, and only DAB is linked on Redwall.org, all the new members who do come find their way there. And since they never leave there ('cept to their carbon-copy proboards sites), all the other, older sites die.

Yep, DAB's like a leech. A good leech, of course. But a leech nonetheless.

Little leech sucking the lifeblood out of the ROC. I say we mount a revolt and take over!

I have my ways Bwahahahaha! Actually I've been accused of hacking sites before. I never did, but hey, maybe I'll pick up the skill now.

Take over DAB? That would be awkward.
Dirk, YOU'VE been accused of hacking? Wow, I thought I was the only one. Of course, I was banned from DAB quite a while ago.

Yeah, I and a couple of my online friends were accused of hacking another site. I never did, but I found out later my friends did - by randomly guessing a password. Seriously, a random guess, and they got it right. But then they quit. It was all for amusement, they didn't actually intend to fully hack the site.

Yup, basically. Well actually, there was Klitch, but s/he didn't hack (as far as I know). Just made Fluffebelle's life miserable beyond belief. And then Ev Dawg did the same to Lauren, long ago. Heh, there's always some controversial person on DAB causing a big fuss. I used to start eagerly guessing what the next one might be about.

HMPH, thats funny. What did Klitch do? Yay! I'm not the worst! I think... Heehee, the next controversy is gonna be about elders telling off n00bs in a really mean way.

Klitch was pretty bad. And it went on for awhile too. Just as everyone thought we were done, she came back to cause more chaos. I stayed out of it though, so I don't know all the details.

Was the OMF deleted? Or is it still there? Not to post on but simply to read?

OMF is dead in the water. The old one had to be deleted, the new one never got far before inactivity hit it, so there's really not much to look at there. Plus, I forget the url at the moment.
