Excellent. Advertising is working for once.
Welcome to the Horde Bay/Dingus/Shotput/whatever. I'll put both characters into the 2nd Legion.

Hmm, not so much of a shock to me to see them under your name Typhoon. If I recall correctly you were leader of a couple divisions in your time. Destrovant Raiders was one, wasn't it? Actually I don't know, that's the only name of the first set of divisions I can remember, besides my own (which I led).

You were the one that originally started this site, weren't you, Dunsh? (sorry, stupid question, but hey, being Horde Master doesn't necessarily denote being the creator of the site as well. Like Tangle on DAB.)

Nope, I'm third/fifth leader.
Saxifrage Ontario started it. After a few months, he stepped down and appointed Sarevok Terranyth in his place. He lasted a little longer, then left after appointing me to replace him (actually, I was elected. I think a whole two people voted). I was leader for, oh, I don't know, 8 months or so? I can't remember when exactly I quit. Truecreek took over, but she basically disappeared, and the site was dying, so I returned, made a new board (this one) since I no longer had admin access (and Durriac was on vacation, so I couldn't even get him to help out), and resumed leadership duties.
So yeah, that's the history of The Horde in a nutshell.
Hm, I once had it written down, at the 1-year anniversary. Wonder if I can find that...

Durriac basically retired from The Horde, not long before this sudden influx of new members arrived. I still keep in contact with him, he just can't keep up with his command duties anymore.
Hehe, found the 1-year anniversary history thing. Horribly written. I'll try to find time to re-write and update it.

Actually know, Durriac lives across the contient from me But we chat on AIM regularly, and I'd say are pretty good friends. Cyp joins in on that too. And a bunch of others from the old days of The Horde/The OMF. Ah, bygone days... And yeah, when/IF I ever write a history up, I'll definitely post it for all to see. But I just realised, you can actually go back in time on the Calendar part of the board, and see different dates when important things happened and what not. Well, as much as Durriac and I could remember when we wrote it.

I don't miss the OMF, because I still talk with all the OMF people regularly on Aim. It's just the site that died, not the friendships nor contact with each other. The OMF was just a way to start that friendship, since we weren't all friends on Aim yet, and a proboards site was something we were familiar with. Plus I told Punka to take her spamming elsewhere other than the Horde, and she took me literally
